Founded 90 years ago here in Bilbao, this school has been a milestone in the relationship between the Spanish Basque country and Germany.  It's main objective is to educate its pupils to be independent and European in their attitude.  The pupils are given responsibilities in class and the older students spend 2 weeks work experience with Germany companies. 

They have various innovative projects on the go which encourage investigation and the use various software programmes.  The school is situated in a wonderful green part of the city and the infants school is particularly welcoming.  English is used from 10 years old and 20% of the lessons are igiven in Spanish.  Music studies are encouraged and the school has a choir and orchestra.

SPECIAL FEATURES: They are working on incorporating a quality management system, adapted for foreign schools and based on the EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management).
